Panhandle Productions prides itself on using top of the line video, audio, lighting & editing equipment.

Video
The Panasonic HVX200 is a standard of documentary film and independent media. Utilizing state of the art digital P2 technology, the camera records a multitude of formats in top of the line DVCPRO HD quality. The HVX200 is not only popular among independent filmmakers, you can see its handiwork in Hollywood films such as Cloverfield, Deadwater, Diary of the Dead, and X-Files.

Audio
Sennheiser microphones exceed expectations for professional audio quality. A lavalier microphone (lav or lapel mic) is a small electret microphone used for interviews and public speaking. Wireless Lav mics provide top quality audio while allowing subjects to be hands free and care free. A shotgun microphone is directional on-camera mic commonly used on television, film sets, and sports arenas.

Tripod
Manfrotto is the standard for tripods and monopods in today's video world. The Manfrotto 501 Pro Video Head is designed to support the latest professional digital cameras with fluid movement and exceptionally smooth control. Manfrotto monopods are ideal for documentary and "on-the-go" shoots.

Lights
To go along with our pro Video & Audio gear, we also have a variety of stand-up and on-camera lights. Panhandle Productions uses Lowel and Microbeam products. A "3-Point" lighting system is commonly used for sit-down interviews. It consists of a primary "Key" light, a secondary "Fill" light & finally, a "Back" light. On-camera lights are used for "on-the-go" shoots in low-light situations.

Editing
Final Cut Studio 3 is the tool of choice for today's digital media editor. It combines 6 powerful software programs into one comprehensive system. Final Cut does most of the dirty work, while Motion, Color, Soundtrack Pro, Compressor, and DVD Studio help polish off a finished product.
