New Media Ventures empowers entrepreneurs to solve problems that matter. They are the first national network of angel investors supporting media and tech startups that disrupt politics and catalyze progressive change. Their portfolio includes groundbreaking organizations such as Upworthy, Daily Kos and The Story of Stuff. In 2013, New Media Ventures held its first national summit in San Francisco and gathered their investors and entrepreneurs from around the country. Panhandle Productions worked with NMV to design a video that would capture both their core organizational mission and the unique energy present on the day of the summit.

The mission of ROI is to connect an international community of dynamic & creative young Jews and empower them with the tools, support and space they need to turn their ideas into innovative work. In 2012, ROI brought 20 young Jewish entrepreneurs to SXSW to expose them to trends in technology, the Arts, & social good. Panhandle Productions traveled with them to help share their experiences with the broader ROI community and anyone else motivated to change the world.

The Tutorpedia Foundation provides high-quality, personalized tutoring and education services to underserved students. The primary goal of Tutorpedia is to graduate 100% of its students from high school and prepare them for college. Dozens of tutors work closely in one-on-one relationships- promoting the philosophy that a personalized, collaborative relationship between the student and tutor can compliment classroom learning and create extraordinary results. This video tells the story of Ashanti & Sarah- two of Tutorpedia's brightest stars.

Each year, the Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards recognize 15 outstanding youth making a difference in their communities. Winners receive a $36,000 scholarship from the Hellen Diller Family Foundation and are given a platform to share their projects with the rest of the World.

In order to get the word out about a new nationwide hunger charity program, Bank of America connected with leaders from Feeding America (the nation’s leading hunger-relief organization) and Boys & Girls Clubs of America (providing nutritious meals to kids through its network of 4,000 clubs). The video below launched a campaign that helped raise almost $3.5 million in individual and company donations during the 2011 holiday season. The fund continues to make a major impact on struggling communities across the country and will expand even larger in 2012. This video was created in partnership with IB5K.
